No WEA course is exactly like another. Although that's probably true of any learning group, the WEA tutors are especially committed to respecting their students' views and experiences and doing all that they can to make sure the learning offered is what individuals actually want.

If you're a student or a tutor and want to write about a special session on any of our courses, please do. Send it to Ruth or send direct through The Gossip Shop.

Our Celebrations event at the Jaywick Community Centre was funded by the National Lotteries Charities Board with help from colleagues in the WEA Essex Federation. It was fun! Click here for the official report or here to see some of the photos.

The programme of courses 2003-2004 is now available. Click here.

In 2000-2001 we arranged more courses than in the whole of the previous year - and that was record-breaking.

Academic years run from September to August. Click here for a list of the current (2002-2003) courses
